When teeth are missing or need to be replaced one of the options for replacement is with a denture. A denture is a removable device that replaces not only the missing teeth but also helps support the facial tissues by replacing the missing soft and bony tissues too.

Our dentures are constructed by our very skilled dental technician in their laboratory following guidance from our dentists.  We will choose the right shade and shape of tooth to suit your face and profile to ensure the denture gives you a great aesthetic and functional solution.

Dentures are also often used as an interim treatment once teeth are removed and before a fixed replacement such as a bridge or a dental implant. A denture can be used in the early days to allow for healing.

We are also able to construct dentures that “click” into attachments that are placed into dental implants in the jaw. This is a great solution if you struggle to retain a denture when eating and talking, perhaps because of reduced support.

Dentures are removable for cleansing and when sleeping, although your dentist will advise a post treatment care protocol.
