Dental Check ups in Geneva

We recommend regular Check Ups with the dentists. For some this will be every six months, for others a longer or shorter interval.

Firstly we will listen to you and find out about your dental concerns and problems plus find out your medical background. We do need to know which medicines you take as some do interfere with our treatments.

At your first visit and at all routine examinations we will thoroughly check your teeth, your bite, but also all the soft tissues that line your mouth, your gums and jaw joints. We understand the importance of healthy gums, without them your teeth have no foundation so we do spend quite some time assessing gums.

Spotting oral cancer early is also important for our team so we will carry out a full mouth cancer screen at your checks too and if necessary we will refer to a specialist for a second opinion.

We will also use imaging to show you your mouth which will help you understand our findings. Time will be spent to discuss this with you and advise of all the options available and how best to proceed.

Following your examination and potential treatments we will recommend an appropriate maintenance programme.
